Edward Hopper’s Adobe, Houses Santa Fe is one of only 13 watercolors Hopper painted in New Mexico.  Hopper's only visit to the state was a brief four month stay in the summer of 1925.  Adobe Houses, Santa Fe is startling in its simplicity with the same stark, enigmatic quality found in Hopper's works of East Coast architecture.
